Say “NO” to Aging

After 30 years of age, human body’s BMR (basal metabolic rate) is decreasing.  The body and organs have accumulated injuries day by day while we’re getting older.  Eventually those injuries would surpass the body’s renovation capability.  The body function, system, organs, and cells would get weak and thus make us get sick and aging.  For example, aging comes with symptoms such as weak muscle strength, osteoporosis, poor eyesight and hearing, slow reaction, loose skin, and so on.

In the modern society, most people live under pressure, work hard for a long time, have unhealthy diet, lack of exercise, etc.  These factors lead to aging quickly.  Some people spend a lot of money on buying anti-aging skin care products or nutrition supplement, trying to keep aging away.  However, it is import to do it right, or it comes with opposite effect.  For example,


  1. Too much intense exercise is not OK.

Exercise is good to keep us energetic and young.  However, some people are busy working on weekdays and only have time to do exercise on weekends.  If doing too much intense exercise at a time, it would come with opposite effect.

Normally, the body oxygen consumption is ten to fifteen times more during exercise than in rest.  The consumption is even much more during highly intense exercise.  At the time the body generates a lot of free radicals, which may cause oxidation injuries to DNA, cells, organs, system and lead to accelerate aging.  Therefore, it’s better to keep regular and suitable exercise.


  1. Low calorie diet is not always good.

Fatness is not only unhealthy, but also ages the body.  For this obvious reason, many people are used to keeping fit on diet.  However, low calorie does not always mean good effect to anti-aging.  If not having well-balanced and enough nutrition, the body speeds up consuming energy.  It would result in tiredness, illness, decreasing effect of anti-oxidation, and aging.  The best way is to have a wide variety of vegetables and fruits with enough nutrition so as to upgrade the body’s anti-oxidation capability and BMR (basal metabolic rate).


  1. Skin care product is not better than natural food.

Women usually spend lots of money on skin care products.  In fact, it’s more important to take care of daily diet, having well-balanced and enough nutrition.  Better to eat natural food, but not processed food.  Fruits & vegetables, whole grains, meat & fish, eggs & soy protein, milk & dairy products, and nuts are all necessary for daily diet.


For most people the first sign of aging is rough skin or wrinkles.  The following three kinds of nutrition are good for anti-oxidation and may prevent wrinkles :


  1. Collagen:

As the years go by, we’re losing collagen, the main structural protein of skin.  Loose skin and wrinkles make us look older.  Collagen food such as pork feet knuckle, pork skin, sea cucumber, etc. would help keeping collagen for our skin.

  1. Vitamin C:

Vitamin C protects and regenerates skin cells.  It can make the skin bright and lessen freckles or spots.

  1. Vitamin A

If the body doesn’t receive enough vitamin A, the skin would get dry and rough.

As we know many fruits are rich in vitamin C.  The following are especially good for skin beauty:

  1. Strawberry
  2. Kiwi fruit
  3. Apple
  4. Cherry
  5. Grapes
  6. Lemon
  7. Tangerine

Above all, it’s better to always eat a variety of fruit, but not have only one or two kinds of fruit day by day.

When body cells are being metabolized, the body generates free radicals which is the main factor of aging.  We can eat more anti-oxidation food to eliminate free radicals.  Here are nine kinds of food with anti-oxidation ingredients:

  1. Banana

Banana is rich with antioxidant, potassium, and vitamin B6.  Green banana has more antioxidant than yellow banana, and also lower calorie.

  1. Black chocolate

Black chocolate helps to decrease the possibility of heart disease and improve blood circulation of brain.

  1. Green tea

Green tea contains Tea Polyphenols for anti-oxidation and anti-aging, and helps to keep cardiovascular system well.

  1. Walnut

Walnut has more antioxidant than the other nuts.  It is also rich with vitamin E which is good for heart and cardiovascular system.

  1. Blueberry

Blueberry is rich with anti-oxidant, vitamin C, and cellulose.

  1. Soybean

Young soybean is a rich source of vegetable protein, antioxidant, and iron.

  1. Spinach

Spinach contains protein, vitamin A and K, folic acid and cellulose, and is good food to keep the body fit and energetic.

  1. Flaxseed

Flaxseed has ALA (one type of Omega-3 fatty acid) which can be converted to prostaglandin (PGE3) in the human body, helping to moderate inflammation reaction.

  1. Kiwi fruit

Kiwi fruit contains potassium, fiber, vitamin A and E, and antioxidant, which can  counteract the free radicals injuring the cells.
